A New Expedition…

There are times in our life when we feel lost. There is a long path ahead of us, but the signboards are no longer visible. Things we thought we’re in control are no longer within our grips. The beliefs that make the pillars of our life are doom. Where are we heading? What are we doing? There is nor any sense of belonging or the feeling of existence. That is the time we tend to explore more because we desperately want to come out of the gloom. I explored and spotted Yoga with a Pen. I love pens and is inquisitive about yoga. That expedition took me to the shores of Zentangle. During the three hours of the session, my mind stopped wandering. It was at peace. My focus was on the pen and the patterns I sketched. I envisioned a new form of meditation. When I came out, I knew I was at peace within myself. I found a new way to escape the obscurity that swallowed me. I decided to hold it tight. The below are the first three tangles I drew.


The author of this blog is Ria Lakshman. V, who currently works in Color Doppler, a healthcare magazine based in North Kerala, India. She is a perfect archetype of the proverb ‘Jack of All Trades, but master of none’. She is a passionate writer, besides which she also paints and draws pictures occasionally.
